We don't just put on concerts for you to listen to.  We run other musical events too, such as workshops, "come and sing"s, social events and fundraisers.

Community Workshop - Come & Sing Ellington

Saturday 8 June 2024
10.00am - 1.30pm
Union Church, Weston Park, Crouch End N8 9PX

Join us for a free Come & Sing workshop session.

Crouch End Festival Chorus is a local choir with a passion for singing.
We want to share this fun with you.

This is a singing opportunity open to everyone. You don't need to be able to read music.

Music Director David Temple says: "My approach for the workshop is to gear it towards those who are less familiar with crotchets and quavers - and so there will be much learning and singing from memory. I hope this workshop will inspire a new generation of singers."

There are 60 places available.

Open Rehearsal - Verdi Requiem

Saturday 15 June 2024
10.30am - 1.30pm

To celebrate our 40th anniversary, we are welcoming singers who may be interested in joining Crouch End Festival Chorus to attend a rehearsal.

We're keen to offer this opportunity to anyone who might be thinking about taking up singing again after a break or be looking for new musical challenge. As such, this is targeted at strong singers who might want to become members of the choir.

Led by our music director, David Temple MBE, this will be our first rehearsal preparing for a performance of the Verdi Requiem at the BBC Proms on 23rd July.

Following the open rehearsal, singers can apply for an audition.  Successful auditionees will be invited to join us to sing in the Proms concert.
