Young conductors - apply now
Applications close on April 5 2024 for the 2024-25 cohort of the Young Conductors Mentoring Scheme.
Crouch End Festival Chorus is working to develop the next generation of choral conductors. This scheme is an opportunity for two talented young musicians with a passion for conducting to develop their conducting skills in a free mentoring programme run by Crouch End Festival Chorus.
Two young musicians will be invited to spend one programme season with CEFC- starting in September 2024 and finishing in July 2025.
The two successful applicants will have twice-monthly mentoring sessions with the Crouch End Festival Chorus Music Director, David Temple, and have the opportunity to attend choir rehearsals and work with the choir management and accompanist.
Applications are invited from talented and committed musicians, aged between 18 and 35, from any background and with any level of training, who want to make conducting their career, especially those with an interest in conducting symphonic choirs.
The closing date for applications is 5 April 2024.
