We pride ourselves on our versatility and professionalism and are able to provide a range of experienced singers – from a chamber choir to a symphony chorus of 120. We work across an eclectic range of music – from major classical works to opera, television and movie soundtracks, musicals and rock and pop music. We are equally confident in recording studios, singing regularly at Abbey Road and Air, as we are performing in major concerts halls or pop music venues, such as London’s O2, the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena and the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival. Many of our concerts have been recorded for broadcast on radio and TV or for DVD distribution.
We offer professional musicianship at every event and can provide a tailor-made choir for engagements. Our music director David Temple MBE is hugely experienced at preparing Crouch End Festival Chorus for concerts of all types of music and is an accomplished conductor, both in the concert hall and in the recording studio. Choral arrangements can be prepared if required.
We have extensive experience working live and in the studio with classical music’s big names as well as with rock stars, and we have recorded soundtracks for films, TV programmes, video games and commercials.
We provide choirs for concerts of traditional classical, movie soundtrack, video games and contemporary music.
We have performed with Ennio Morricone, Andrea Bocelli at the O2, the Philharmonia Orchestra under Vladimir Ashkenazy at the Royal Festival Hall and Hans Zimmer at Wembley Arena, as well as recording for a major advertising campaign for Cadbury, the Elton John biopic Rocketman soundtrack, TV show Good Omens, and choral backing for Sarah Brightman and Sir Ray Davies on their albums.
